TEDxTampaBay

TEDx grants licenses to organizations, universities, and communities to host an independently organized conference in the spirit of a TED Conference. In the spirit of “ideas worth spreading”, TEDxTampaBay will host live talks to inspire the Tampa Bay community.

In 18 minutes or less, fascinating thinkers and doers will deliver their TEDxTampaBay talk on stage. There will also be performances and pre-recorded TED talks in this full day event.

About TEDx

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxTampaBay, where x=independently organized TED event. At our TEDxTampaBay event, TEDTalks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized. http://www.ted.com/tedx
