Central Florida TEDx Events

TEDxTampaBay isn’t happening until April 20, 2012, but that doesn’t mean that the Central Florida TEDx community has to wait until then to enjoy the energy that surrounds a TEDx event. Several other regional TEDx events are taking place within 100 miles of each other over the next several weeks.

Although each of these events is independently organized and managed by separate and distinct TEDx teams, we’re all TED fans and support each other’s events in order to build a regional critical mass of big idea thinkers and doers in Central Florida!

The TEDxTampaBay team is proud to collaborate with the other regional teams — they’re all incredibly dedicated.  The most amazing part about these events is that none of the organizers get paid to host these events.  Furthermore, 100% of ticket fees go toward paying for the events. So, if you enjoy sharing big ideas and meeting like-minded people, consider supporting the TEDx community in Central Florida by attending one (or all) of these incredibly powerful local TEDx events.

The highly eclectic line-up of local and national presenters, including scientists, artists, entrepreneurs, community activists, filmmakers and more promise to energize your mind!

Theme: The Creative Spark

Location: Garden Theatre, Orlando, FL



One of the few youth events in the southeastern U.S., TEDxYouth@TampaBay hosts teens and twenty-somethings from the Bay area and beyond to perform and present in the state-of-the-art Digitorium at the St. Petersburg College Seminole Campus!
